The disappearing school.

This story happened in in a small village in West Africa. My village does not have a name, we called it "the village". I call it "the void". I am the new teacher there and every day the number of my students attending school is diminishing. They enter a white building over there, emerge with money and never come back to school.I have to go over there and bring them back...
A modern tale on the ravages of ignorance and intolerance.

Theme explored in this book: lack of education, intolerance.

LDF Notes: A great collection which deals with every day life situations.
